PLYWOODS BWR GRADE- IS:303 CM/L/6236160
Selected Veneers are used for the manufacturing of BWR Grade Plywoods, Imported Gurjan Veneer which have specified in the Indian standard specification of general purpose Plywood (Clause 6.1 Annex B), Gurjan species do not need a special treatment, even though we have giving a short time treatment by normal diffusion method. Boron based compounds are used as preservatives.
Phenol formaldehyde synthetic resins are the bonding agent of our BWR Grade Plywoods. Resins are manufactured in our own Resin unit since 1994.
Every batch Resins has confirmed as per IS 848: 1974, So the glue shear strength test of our Plywood is always perfect.
Thickness Dimensions and tolerance are according to IS:12049:1987. So a chance for complaints in the dimensions of our plywood is totally ruled out.
MR GRADE IS:303 CM/L 6236160
Imported Gurjan round logs are steamed before rotary peeling for removing the oil content present in the wood. This provides an excellent bonding of Urea formaldehyde resins, which are used as the back bone polymers in the MR Grade adhesives. Other extenders confirming to the IS 1508:1972 are used in the adhesive mix. The result of the special adhesive mix are seen in the material strength test. The glue shear strength of our MR Grade Plywood reaches near to the BWR Grade.
MARINE PLY CONFIRMS TO IS:710:1976
A number of species have listed in IS:710:1976 for the manufacturing of marine Plywood. Our marine grade plywoods are made of 100% Gurjan species. The bonding of each plie is carried out by BWP type phenol formaldehyde resins which confirms to IS 848-1974.
The Plywoods are treated by a special mixture of preservatives. Boric acid is the main ingredient of our preservatives. Treatment is done by hot soak method. Hence the resistance against the Micro Organisms is incredibly high.
All tests specified in IS:710-1976 are carried out in our laboratory and the results obtained are excellent.
Our smooth relationship with the leading foreign suppliers of Gurjan Veneers helps us for the regular import of Gurjan veneer and round logs. So we do not face any shortage of veneers. The imported veneers have a uniform thickness, surface smoothness and good finish, which are an added advantage for maintaining the quality of our plywoods.
